Welcome Cami!!

I know that it has been a while since I have updated our blog.
So hopefully I will get you all updated today... or hopefully this week!

Conor Aiden Morrison was born on August 12, 2008 at 8:26 am. He was 6 pounds and 12 ounces and was 19 1/4 inches long. Labor was drug free and 8 and 1/2 hours long!

Cindy's family was the first there to visit Conor. Her parents, brother and sister-in-law, Tim and Jessica and their son Andrew. Andrew was very excited to see his cousin!

Here is our little one getting weighed.

He was so good and never cried! (Though I can't say that the no crying lasted for long!)

I know that this picture is less than flattering for myself... typical Cindy picture closing my eyes.... but this is still our first family portrait and at least the boys look good!

Conor all cleaned up and sitting int he warmer to bring his body temperature up. Daddy gave him his first bath in the pictures below.

Our first bath!

Craig did a great job bathing him.

The only time that Conor cried was when the

nurse washed his head.

He was not a fan!

We had checked into the hospital on Tuesday around 6 am. After one night, we were ready to go home... or we hoped we were! I can't believe that they actually let us take him home.... what do we know!

He is all strapped in and ready to go!

Toad Hall

This July we went with Cindy's family up to Toad Hall. (Aunt Janet's and Uncle Greg's house on Lake Tulloc.) It was Uncle Greg's 60th birthday and lots of family and friends came out for the event! We drove up with Cindy's parents, and unfortunately didn't get any pictures of the drive.... but it took us about 12 hours each way because we had to stop every 90 minutes to let Cindy walk around and go to the bathroom. (What happens when you take a road trip and are 8 months pregnant!)
We spent most of our days laying out in the water. It was a necessity for Cindy to prevent swelling!

Andrew enjoyed playing in the water with his mom and dad too!

Cindy's mom, Sheri, and her sister Janet, and sister-in-law Darci went out on the tube and got whipped around by Scott and Greg.

Andrew was so helpful putting the Kyaks away at the end of the day!

He didn't like these too well!!

Ricky and Brittney took our younger cousins, Mikayla and Cameron, out for a Kayak ride.

Every year all the cousins get together to play a game of wiffle ball. This year, Cindy was not able to join, but you can see that Andrew can't wait to be able to join the big boys!

Going to Toad Hall every summer is becoming a family tradition. Every year, though, our family is growing! So we decided to take family pictures of the kids and the adults every year to show the growth. (Not of our physical size but of our family size!)

Baby Shower

My Mom and the "Happy Hour Ladies threw Cami (Conor) and I a baby
shower in July. The theme was a Teddy Bear Tea party. As always, my
"mothers" out-did themselves! Every detail, from the decorations to the food and cakes, turned out beautifully. Thank you to everyone who was able to come and enjoy the day with us! Thank you Mom!
